Welcome to Alaska isn't just about ALASKA.  It's about the journey from Minnesota to ALASKA.  The script features varied locations from Randall's home town of St Paul Minnesota to the great plains of North America and the Rocky Mountains.  A couple of scenes take place in Hawaii.  About 60% of the movie will be filmed in Minnesota, a state with a wide variety of landscapes.  The remanning parts of the film will be shot in Alaska highlighting all the beautiful landscapes we can't pull off in Minnesota.
